Description:The UltraSPARC is a 64-bit superscalar
processor series which can issue up to
four instructions at once (but not out
of order) to any of nine units: two
integer units, two of the five floating
point/graphics units, the
branch and two load/store units.

The UltraSPARC I/II were architecturally
the same. The UltraSPARC III concentrated
on improved data and instruction bandwidth.

The UltraSparc IIi is for embedded systems.
It contains an integrated DRAM controller,
PCI 2.1 interface, L2 cache controller and
other features

UltraSparcs are made for Sun by
Texas Instruments.
